Pendant to the beret

The Minister of National Defense, by the decision No 48 / MOND of 12 February 2010 introduced a pendant to the beret of the Great Poland Land Forces NCO Academy.

The initiative to introduce a pendant on the beret constituted continuation building of symbols by the School, which refers in its purport to inherited and cultivated traditions. These traditions are expressed by using the traditional infantry pendant in the pattern. The crest of the Great Poland Province located on the pendant, refers to the tradition and symbolizes the common place of stationing for the NCO and its precursors.

The pendant is in the shape of a parallelogram of 15 mm x 45 mm (height x base) with an indentation crossed diagonally. Pressed plate made of metal sheet with silver border. Painted in navy blue. By the middle of the pendant led the line in yellow sunflower color. These colors express traditions and legacy of the 14th Great Poland Infantry Division.

In the field of pendant there is a crest of the Great Poland Province, which is the gothic armorial shield, with the eagle in its field.

The crest is pressed from the copper, enamel in two colors, the whole is gold-plated.

It symbolizes the common place of stationing for the NCO and its precursors – the Great Poland Province.
